Now in its 5th year, the partnership between Admiral and NoFit State continues to go from strength to strength. With a clear focus on delivering the highest quality experiences for the enjoyment and development of Admiral staff, the partners are constantly exploring new, dynamic ways of working together. NoFit State delivers an engaging programme of bespoke staff training and event entertainment while Admiral supports the arts organisation’s vibrant community work.
Admiral prides itself on being recognised as one of the Best Workplaces in the UK and its partnership with NoFit State offers its staff unique training opportunities, including the chance to learn flying trapeze! Developing circus skills is not simply fun, but also helps the insurer’s staff gain a better understanding of and approach to risk. The judges were impressed by the evolving nature of this creative partnership and felt that Admiral’s outstanding commitment to the arts for the benefit of staff made it a clear winner in this category.
Principality Building Society
A partnership between Principality and Rubicon Dance began in 2014 and has developed into a multi-faceted relationship which benefits the business’ employees and the wider community. The building society wished to engage its staff and enhance their wellbeing by providing them with access to dance workshops, including a series for the Principality’s touch rugby team, The Puffins. The mutually beneficial partnership continues to develop with an increased number of staff being engaged throughout 2017.
Wales & West Utilities
Wales & West Utilities is in its 8th year of partnership with Act Now Creative Training. Drama techniques help staff explore ways of building rapport and relationships, improving customer care. Specially devised dramatic scenes provide unique opportunities to experience the power of the arts to influence change. In 2016, the training was extended to different areas of the business. The partnership is credited as a key reason for W&WU winning a major industry award for customer care.
